This is Ms. Delgado's first year at Pleasant Hill Elementary teaching 4th grade Bilingual class. She moved from New York a year ago where she was a 3rd grade teacher. Her inspiration to teach came from her sisters, who are also teachers. She graduated from Touro College with a Master’s degree is General and Special Education. In her spare time, Alba enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, and swimming.
Ms. Pollock was born in Austin and has spent most of her life between Austin and Houston. She graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in Communication Studies, then decided to change paths and taught English as a foreign language in South Korea for two years. This stoked her love of traveling. She taught in Houston for four years before returning to her hometown to be near her family. She has a fat cat named Toby and loves the outdoors, including hiking, camping, and of course turtles.
